Liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks are specialized products for storing LNG. They are special equipment, Class III pressure vessels, and undergo rigorous manufacturing processes including flaw detection, hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing, on-site inspection by the technical supervision bureau, and issuance of a pressure vessel inspection certificate. External rust removal and painting are also part of the manufacturing process. LNG storage tanks undergo strict quality assessments regarding the materials, dimensions, weld quality, operational quality, installation quality, internal devices, and safety accessories of pressure-bearing components. Routine physical and chemical tests are conducted on the tank materials, such as mechanical properties and chemical composition. Welded joints, welds, tank heads, and the geometric positions of various pressure-bearing components are rigorously inspected using X-ray non-destructive testing and magnetic particle testing. The product's sealing performance, pressure resistance, and all technical indicators that could affect its safe operation are also tested.

    The standard carbon steel submerged arc welding wire and flux used are Lincoln welding wire and flux from the USA, ensuring stable and reliable welding quality and an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

     

    Two types of paint are available: domestic and imported. Both offer a beautiful finish and excellent weather resistance.

     

    Processing capabilities and technological advantages:

     

    1. Laser cutting ensures high precision with an error within 0.05 mm, guaranteeing welding quality; heat exchanger baffles can be directly laser-cut.

     

    2. For stainless steel longitudinal and circumferential welds ≤10 mm thick, plasma welding is used, with single-sided welding and double-sided forming, reducing welding wire consumption. Compared to submerged arc welding, it eliminates the need for carbon arc gouging, avoiding carburization, resulting in a beautiful appearance, low heat input, and excellent weld quality. Radiographic testing pass rate is over 99%.

     

    3. Argon arc automatic welding machine provides high and stable welding quality and a beautiful weld appearance.
