The process works in a continuous cyclic pressure swing system, as follows:
l Adsorption Cycle
l Air Compression: Atmospheric air is filtered, compressed and delivered to the adsorber.
l Adsorption: Molecular sieve (Zeolite) adsorbs nitrogen molecules from air and oxygen passes through.
l Desorption (Regeneration) cycle: The adsorber tower depressurizes and nitrogen is pushed out.
l Two towers work alternately in adsorption and regeneration, so a continuous oxygen production can be achieved.
