Cryogenic storage tanks are vertical or horizontal double-layered vacuum insulated tanks. The inner liner is made of austenitic stainless steel, and the outer container material is selected according to national regulations, such as Q235-B or 345R, depending on the user's region. The sandwich between the inner and outer containers is filled with perlite insulation material and evacuated. They are widely used in the electronics, chemical, petroleum, and glass industries.
